Maruichigo Farm
Inside the greenhouse is a clean and cute strawberry garden.
At the Mukaihara intersection on National Route 56 heading towards National Route 378, you will find Maru Ichigo Farm, marked by a cute red logo sign on a white background.
The hallways inside the house are wide, so strollers and wheelchairs can be used safely. Children who get tired of picking strawberries can have fun playing in the kids' space, so adults can also enjoy picking strawberries at their own pace. The handmade-style tables and chairs, blackboard menu, decorations and accessories are stylish, making it a great place for a date.
Try the popular "Strawberry Smoothie"
Besides strawberry picking, the strawberry smoothies at Maru Ichigo Farm are also very popular!
This smoothie has a rich flavor, made with soy milk and the sour and sweet taste of ripe strawberries. They use soy milk instead of cow's milk because they want people with dairy allergies to be able to enjoy their smoothie. With soy milk, the smell of the milk doesn't ruin the strawberry flavor, and you can get a stronger "strawberry feel," making it an irresistible dish for strawberry lovers (large: 500 yen, small: 400 yen).
Currently, the cute white food truck is setting up stalls at various events and markets throughout the prefecture. This is your chance to easily purchase a "strawberry smoothie"! For information on events and markets, check out their Facebook and Instagram accounts (@maru_strawberryfarm_smoothie).
Also, between summer and autumn, if you're lucky, you might come across the luxurious "Fig Daifuku" (sold for a limited time only), which contains a whole fig.
The owner is too hospitable
Looking at the menu, I wish I could go strawberry picking; there are some nice touches such as a bottle of condensed milk for 200 yen, a luxury set of three types of condensed milk, chocolate syrup, and whipped cream for 100 yen, and mineral water to wash it down for 100 yen each.
In addition, the farm offers everything you need, including free services such as bibs for children, selfie stick rentals, balloons, and smartphone charging.
Enjoy all-you-can-eat delicious strawberries for 60 minutes. There are nine varieties of fresh strawberries available, including the new variety "Akai Shizuku" that is only grown in Ehime Prefecture, "Amaotome" and "Kaorino". There are also white strawberries, which are popular these days! The strawberries are grown with reduced use of pesticides. They have passed strict inspections by Ehime Prefecture and are certified as "Eco Ehime", so you can rest assured.
